Our company is currently engaged in the cultivation of paddy rice, which is processed into milled rice for sale within Sierra Leone. To enable the company to carry out its business activities, funds were raised from equity capital and a bank loan to acquire 1157 acres of freehold arable land for paddy cultivation and to build a concrete factory, store, staff lodge, and director's lodge. The company also acquired the following: (1) two sets of industrial rice mills and packaging, each producing 4 tonnes of milled rice per hour, (2) two sets of industrial dryers with the capacity to dry up to 7 tonnes of paddy rice every 8 hours, (3) two sets of 300 KVA generators to power our production plants, and (4) most cultivation machinery.
